Portfolio

Hello Students,

Please note that the deadline for each of you to turn in the Portfolio is onWednesday, Dec 8th, from 10 am till 4 pm. I will be in my office @ COAS 245 during the time period.

The Portfolio will include:

1. Research Project: 2 copies.

1st copy: Your complete Draft with changes highlighted & my comments
2nd copy: Your revised Draft highlighting the changes you made after working on my comments

2. Cover Letter

Please put them all in a Folder, label the Folder:

IMPORTANT!!!

Hi Students,

I hope your weekend went by greatly and that you've finished the work for the class too.

So, I am going to collect the COMPLETE Project II of yours tomorrow during class time. You will turn in 2 copies (1st copy: your Project II with corrections + stamp from the Writing center; and 2nd: your revised draft with changes highlighted). I will be in our regular classroom from 1:10. Please be on time.

One minor change in our AGENDA, as indicated in the blog, is the deadline for you to turn in your Portfolio is moved forward to Dec 8. The reason is Dec 10 is the Dead Day so you don't have to come to school. Please schedule the work and let finish it WELL and on time.

One more thing, regarding the presentation of Project II. I would need half of our class population to present on Nov 18 and the other half on Nov 23. I will ask for sign-in tomorrow when we meet.

Class cancelled

Hi everyone,

I am not feeling well enough to go through the class sections tomorrow so we will have a day off. However, beside finishing your homework the last time, you will read Article # 4: "Rhetorical Reading Strategies and the Construction of Meaning", write Summary 4 for it and bring a hard copy of it to class on Tuesday.
