I agree with Sondra Perl that writers when they write about a certain topic some of the writers write for a long periods of time without returning briefly to what is already on their paper. While other writers write down some sentences and frequently go back to check their progress or maybe get more ideas to write down. For example Anne and English teacher when she writes she rereads after a few phrases to make sure she has her stuff organize. That’s what happens to me every time I write an essay about any topic I have to stop and go back to see what I wrote and to see if I have any spelling mistakes and sometimes it helps when you go back because you could add some more or I could give you more ideas to write. I agree with Eugene Gendlin about our “felt sense” because when writing about any topic it evokes a sense of felt sense which calls “forth images, words, ideas, and vague fuzzy feelings that are anchored in the writer’s body.” So pretty much I agree with Sondra of what she is trying to explain of understanding composing and the way people write.
Question 2: Explain “felt sense” in your own words. How do you relate the description of “felt sense” in the reading with you own experience? How do you “see” your “felt sense”?
Respond: felt sense in my own words to me is a feeling in my stomach and different images in my mind about that topic, also is a great feeling when you know about that topic because you would know what to write about.
