   Understand Composing Summary
Sandra Peel is searching for a way to understand the process that writers take in composing literature. She quotes people to share their opinions and finally comes to the conclusion that this is a certain 'felt sense' within writers that always focus on a subject writing for that certain subject. It takes a certain inspiration within a writer to allow them to focus on the subject and continue to elaborate on it. This is the felt sense that Sandra talks about that certain writers process that allows them to become successful writers. The felt sense can be described as a gut feeling that a writer might get while brainstorming, or the lightbulb effect, where an idea rapidly pops into your head. This sense allows writers to dive deeper in depth into a subject than a normal person could because only writers pocess this felt sense. The writer also uses their felt sense to put themselves in the readers shows in order to make the piece more clear while reading.

 Question 4
What does the author mean by’ the basic process begins with paying attention’? How  do you think your’felt sense’ initiated?
The Author meant by the basic procession in paying attention is that you can not lose focus while you are writing. While writing you cannot full of track and track and lose your thoughts because you will start to not make sense. My felt sense initiated by desvribings the process of paying attention. We have built knowledge in the way we think and that is why when we are asked a question. We use our felt sense to answer a question the best way possible.
